After lying in bed looking out at the cold, gray sky this morning for 20 minutes, I said “Just go!”
So, I put on my jogging clothes and pulled my hair up in a pony, popped on my baseball cap and headed out the door. It was misty but not raining — and a chilly 40 degrees. But I jogged. And it felt great — even after the rain started falling. A good half of the jog was in the rain. So, jogging in the rain — does that make me a runner yet?
Oh yeah, I ran 4.33 miles in 53 minutes and burned 518 calories. GREAT way to start the day!
